There is a traditional local market held every Monday in Turunc were you can enjoy bartering for your goods, and pick up some great bargains. Turunc lies literally at the end of the mountain road, a truly beautiful coastal village. The village of Turunc is a quiet fishing village that has managed to retain both character and charm in a picture perfect holiday location providing a haven of peace and tranquillity, and welcomes tourists during the long summer season from April to October.
There is a wide variety of water sport activities for the more adventurous, and plenty of historical and fascinating trips to be taken to explore this wonderful country and coastline which can be booked from any of the tour operators on the main street in Turunc, or directly from the boat owners on the harbour. The bright lights of Marmaris and Icmeler are also just a short boat ride away from the harbour, or merely a dolmus ride away, which is the local transport in Turunc.

The Begonvilla apartments - where you will be staying - are ideally located in a relaxing and quiet part of Turunç set back near the mountains. The complex is suited to the more relaxed and quiet type of holiday. Great for recharging the batteries. The Lavanta apartment is a lovely fully furnished air conditioned two bed-roomed apartment. It is only a short walk from the beach and the main street, with all its local amenities. This is a new and privately owned complex, well maintained with a large swimming pool, and as well tended gardens containing a variety of local shrubs and flowering plants.
The Apartments are managed by an English couple who are residents, and are always happy to help the quests with any help or information they may require. The property is looked after and maintained by a local friendly English speaking agent in the village, so that if you have any problems or queries about anything they will be more than happy to help you.
